Refund Policy

Paid checkout is not live yet. Until production checkout opens, Vidmonto does not collect subscription or credit-pack payments from users. This policy explains the refund rules that will apply when paid plans are available.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid Vidmonto products once checkout is enabled:
- Subscription charges for Pro and Team plans
- One-time credit packs if offered
- Team overage charges if offered
2. Refund window
Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the charge date unless applicable law requires a longer period.
3. What is refundable
- Duplicate charges or charges made after a confirmed cancellation.
- Unauthorized charges that can be verified through account and payment records.
- Platform-caused inability to use paid generation for an extended period.
- First-time paid subscribers who request a refund within 7 days and have not successfully consumed paid credits.
4. What is not refundable
- Credits consumed by successful generations.
- Generated videos that have been downloaded, published, or shared externally.
- Subjective dissatisfaction with a successfully generated AI result.
- Accounts suspended or terminated for Acceptable Use Policy violations.
- Requests filed outside the refund window, unless required by law.
5. Failed generations and credit returns
If a generation fails because of a platform-side issue, such as repeated model provider errors or rendering failure after retries, Vidmonto returns the consumed credit where technically possible. Generations blocked or failed because of prohibited content, invalid source files, or user-side input issues are not eligible for automatic credit return.
6. Cancellation behavior
Once paid subscriptions are available, cancellation keeps the plan active until the end of the current billing period. We do not refund unused time in the current billing period unless the case is refundable under this policy or applicable law.
7. Processing time
Approved refunds are normally processed back to the original payment method within 5-10 business days after approval. Banks and payment networks may take additional time to post the credit.
8. How to request a refund
Email support@vidmonto.com with the account email, order or transaction ID, refund reason, and any screenshots or generation IDs that help us investigate.
9. Chargebacks
Please contact support before initiating a chargeback. Most billing issues can be resolved faster through direct support, and chargebacks may temporarily restrict account access while the dispute is investigated.
10. Payment processor role
When paid checkout is enabled, a merchant-of-record or payment processor such as Creem may handle payment collection, invoices, taxes, refunds, and chargeback workflows. Vidmonto will keep this page and checkout disclosures consistent with the active payment provider.
