Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-19

This Privacy Policy explains what data Vidmonto collects, how we use it, who processes it, and how you can contact us about privacy or data-rights requests.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — email address, display name, OAuth provider identifier, and authentication session data.
  • Generation inputs — prompts, uploaded images, uploaded video clips, voice samples if enabled, model choices, aspect ratio, duration, resolution, and visual settings.
  • Generation outputs — generated clips, assembled videos, thumbnails, captions, audio mixes, and related generation metadata.
  • Billing records — subscription status, transaction IDs, refund status, and invoice references once paid checkout is enabled. Vidmonto does not store full card numbers.
  • Support and safety data — customer-support emails, acceptable-use reports, abuse-prevention notes, request timestamps, status codes, and error messages.

2. Why we collect data

  • To authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
  • To generate, store, preview, and deliver videos.
  • To enforce credits, quotas, retries, and failed-generation returns.
  • To detect abuse, enforce the Acceptable Use Policy, and protect the Service.
  • To provide customer support, process refunds, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Third-party processors

Vidmonto uses third-party services to operate the product. Depending on the feature you use, your data may be processed by:

  • Supabase for authentication and database services.
  • Cloudflare R2 for uploaded source files and generated media storage.
  • AI model providers and aggregation services for text-to-video, image-to-video, video processing, transcription, narration, and related model tasks.
  • Payment processors / merchant-of-record providers, including Creem when paid checkout is enabled, for payments, invoices, refunds, and tax records.
  • Email, analytics, and error-monitoring providers if enabled for support, product analytics, operational alerts, and debugging.

4. AI prompt, upload, and output processing

When you submit a prompt, image, video, audio, or other source material, Vidmonto may send that content and relevant settings to the selected AI model provider so the requested output can be produced. Do not upload content you do not have rights to use, sensitive personal information, or content prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.

5. Retention

  • Account data is kept while your account remains active.
  • Source uploads may be retained temporarily for generation, retry, support, and abuse-prevention needs.
  • Generated videos may be retained for preview, download, library, and support access.
  • Billing records are retained as required for tax, accounting, chargeback, and legal obligations once payments are enabled.
  • Support emails are retained long enough to respond, document resolutions, and comply with legal obligations.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal data. To make a request, email support@vidmonto.com and include the account email involved.

7. Cookies and analytics

Vidmonto uses essential cookies for authentication and security. If analytics is enabled, we use it to understand aggregate product usage and improve the Service. You can limit cookies and analytics through your browser settings, although essential authentication cookies are required to sign in.

8. Children

Vidmonto is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, payment flow, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be communicated by email, in-app notice, or this page.
